CleanYourTV on Hisense

How CleanYourTV works on Hisense TVs: 8 tested model lists, the packages contributors disable most often, and what to watch out for.

8 Hisense lists in the official repository. If your exact model is below, the assistant can start from its list; if not, the closest one in the same series is a good start.

How to use CleanYourTV

Only Hisense sets that run Android TV or Google TV are covered. Hisense TVs on VIDAA OS are a different system and do not work with CleanYourTV.

A package being common does not make it right for your TV. Each list starts with a header that names the packages that must stay on for that model, such as those behind HDMI inputs, the remote and settings.

Applying your list by hand

TV_HOST=<tv ip> tools/disable.sh examples/hisense-e5q-pro/debloat.txt
TV_HOST=<tv ip> launcher/build-and-install.sh

Swap in your model’s folder. To undo it, run tools/restore.sh with the same list; on Google TV add the stock launcher com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx as the second argument.

Hisense questions

Does CleanYourTV work on Hisense?

Yes, on models that run Android TV or Google TV. Contributors have tested 8 Hisense models so far.

How do I remove ads from my Hisense TV?

Turn on USB debugging, then run the CleanYourTV prompt in an AI coding assistant on a computer on the same Wi-Fi, or apply your model’s list by hand. The how-to guide has every step.

Which Hisense packages are safe to disable?

The table on this page shows what contributors disabled most often, with their notes. Packages that keep inputs, the remote, settings or the Play Store working are left on. Always keep the list you applied so you can restore it.

Can I undo it?

Yes. Run the restore script with the same list; see how to restore. The TV’s own Settings → Apps page can also re-enable packages.
